Stop setting goals and choose results… Consider adding a Mentor to your Life.

Stop just setting goals…. and resolutions.

Take the Mercedes-Benz or Porsche pictures off of the refrigerator and put them in your drive way.

Stop hoping and wishing and start doing and living.

A one percent change in ACTION can turn into a one hundred percent change in your life.

Nike says “Just DO IT”.

Stop setting goals and Choose results by utilizing a mentor in your Life.

Does Tiger Woods have a coach?  Did Michael Jordan have a coach?  Don’t Championship teams in most sport have coaches?

No matter how great the raw talent or how bad the situation, a mentor who is very knowledgeable about a subject working with a determined individual can turn any situation around.  If you are coachable, willing to learn, and want something different in your life, it is possible.  Let someone help you get beyond just writing an annual list of objectives.  Learn how to move beyond this phase, if you are interested please contact me.

Great post on getting beyond setting goals and moving on to making things happen. I had a mentor when I first started in business and she changed my life. Any one serious about meeting their goals, instead of just setting them, should seriously consider a coach. I’m all about setting goals, but I also think it’s important to stop setting them and start taking the steps to meeting and exceeding them! As always, your posts are great and motivating!

I think that this is a great idea, to motivate people. Some people are conditioned to just set goals, but to have a mentor is something very different.
