Cellular Phone Etiquette for Modern Times
Cellular Phone Etiquette for Modern Times is something I am writing about because it has just gotten out of control. People used to understand etiquette for things that were old and established like Table Manners for example; or rules for driving. Standing in line at the supermarket or the movies were things that we have been doing for a while and we humans have created a whole level of rules about them.
Well I just can’t stand it any more and since it is the day of “Yes I can†I damn will begin to lay out some NEW RULES FOR CELLULAR PHONE ETIQUETTE.
1.   You do not need to use the phone when you are sitting in a bathroom stall, tell them you will call them back before you enter the bathroom.
2.   Men you do not need to cradle your phone on your shoulder as you stand at the urinal, tell them you will call them back before you enter the bathroom.
3.   No person needs to come out of any bathroom door on the damn phone.
4.   When you are ordering food in a restaurant and the waiter has taken all the orders; you can tell your friend you can call them back after you have placed your order before the waiter comes to take the order.
5.   DO NOT TALK ON THE DAMN PHONE WHILE THE MOVIE IS PLAYING. I PAID WAY TOO MUCH FOR THE TICKET ANYWAY, PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP OR QUIETLY TELL THEM HOLD ON AND STEP OUTSIDE THE THEATER AND RESUME YOUR LOUD ASS CONVERSATION.
6.   Keep your volume at a respectable level, I do not have to hear both your conversation and your new car stereo bass while I am pumping my gas in my car and by the way shut your damn door to your car, please.
7.   When talking about your private business remember; IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE YOUR PRIVATE BUSINESS, Too Much Information (TMI) for me.
I wanted to give 10 reasons but I realized that if we could just get the 7 above completed it would be a great day in my life.

Thank you, thank you. It is about someone came up with some practical, down to earth rules for cellular phone etiquette for modern times. I am so tired of having to listen to half a conversation about someones sex life while I am trying to eat. And this idea that we must have a cellphone attached to our ear is just stupid. I want to take pictures of people walking down the street while apparently talking to the air and show it to them. We used to say these people needed help. And how do we know that they are even talking to a real person of if that thing hanging off their ear is just a toy that they wear to impress others. And finally, wasn’t the bathroom the one room we could go into to get away from everyone and every thing. Now even that sanctuary is being taken from us. Keep these blogs coming.

The list is absolutely wonderful. I really get annoyed when people use their cellphones even in toilets and in the cinemas. I wonder how emergent the calls could be..But now that they are in the list, I’m sure these etiquettes should be followed by everyone.
